Buttered rum

Rhum au beurre


1 1/2 ounces Nordic Rum
4 ounces hot (boiling) water
2 tablespoons of organic cane sugar
1 whole star anise
1 teaspoon of salted butter
1 drop of vanilla extract optional


/ Place all the ingredients in a pan and whisk to emulsify the butter.
