Mitis Iced Tea

Le Thé Glacé Mitis

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz of Citrus Mitis Edition Gin
The juice of a quarter of a mandarin
4-5 oz store-bought Tazo grapefruit matcha tea infusion
0.75 oz calamondin syrup* or simple syrup (optional)

PREPARATION

/ Start by making the matcha tea infusion in advance. Steep two tea bags in 5 oz of hot water for 20 minutes (you want a much more concentrated infusion than usual). Avoid brewing in a stainless steel container or with boiling water, as this creates astringency.

/ Remove the tea bags and cool the infusion.

/ In a glass filled with ice, add all the ingredients and mix well.

/ Garnish with mandarin slices.
